Senegal
Sédhiou Region
Established in 2008 as the Middle Casamance, the Sédhiou region serves as a strategic southwestern hub of Senegal, bordered by The Gambia to the north and Guinea-Bissau to the south. This administrative center, which comprises three departments and a population of nearly 600,000, functions as a vital link between the Kolda and Ziguinchor regions.
