Saint-Louis Region

Located on Senegal's border with Mauritania, the Saint-Louis region encompasses 19,241 square kilometers and serves as the home to the Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary. Its capital, Saint-Louis, is distinguished by a historic 19th-century cast iron bridge and supports a population of over 1.2 million people.
