Kédougou Region

Established in 2008 as a distinct region in southeastern Senegal, Kédougou covers 16,800 square kilometers and is renowned for its diverse ecotourism attractions. With a population of approximately 245,000, the area is divided into three departments and serves as a gateway to the natural landscapes of the region.
