Département du Nord

Located in northern Haiti within the Le Grand-Nord region, Nord is one of the country's ten departments with a population of over 1.06 million and a capital at Cap-Haïtien. Spanning 2,114.91 square kilometers, it holds the second-highest Human Development Index ranking among Haitian departments.
