Utah, the 45th U.S. state and the only one where a majority of the population belongs to a single church, is a landlocked region in the Mountain West known as the "Beehive State." With a population of over three million, its urban development is heavily concentrated along the Wasatch Front near Salt Lake City and in Washington County.
