'Amran Governorate

Located in northwestern Yemen, ʽAmran is a governorate with a population of approximately 1.06 million people and a total area of 9,587 square kilometers. Currently controlled by the Houthi movement during the ongoing civil war, its administrative seat is the city of Amran.
