Kavango East

Located in the western half of the Caprivi Strip, Kavango East is Namibia's poorest region despite possessing significant agricultural potential along the Kavango River. Created in 2013 from the former Kavango Region, it is governed from its capital, Rundu, and borders Angola to the north and Botswana to the south.
