Zambezia Province

Zambezia is Mozambique's second most populous province, home to 5.11 million people and anchored by its capital, Quelimane. The region features a 2,574-kilometre stretch of the Zambezi River, extensive mangrove coastlines, and the ecotourism-focused Ilha do Fogo in the Primeiras and Segundas Archipelago.
