Central

Located on the southern coast of Papua New Guinea, Central Province is a 30,000-square-kilometer region with a population of approximately 270,000 where Hiri Motu serves as a dominant lingua franca. Although its administrative seat is the Port Moresby suburb of Konedobu, the province has long planned to establish a new capital at Bautama.
