Angaur

Angaur is the smallest state in Palau, located in the western Caroline Islands, and is known for its unique history as a former Japanese stronghold during World War II. The island serves as a quiet, sparsely populated community with a population of approximately 119 people, where Palauan, English, and Japanese are all spoken.
