Marlborough

Located on the northeast of New Zealand's South Island, Marlborough is a unitary authority renowned for its dry climate, the intricate Marlborough Sounds, and its world-famous Sauvignon blanc wine production. Administered by the Marlborough District Council from the seat of Blenheim, the region serves as the country's 13th largest economy with a very high Human Development Index.
