Phongsaly

Located in extreme northern Laos, Phongsaly province borders China and Vietnam while boasting a landscape where 77% of its 16,270 square kilometers is covered by forest. This region, historically influenced by Chinese culture, features the 1,842-meter-high Phou Doychy mountain and serves as a gateway to protected areas like the Phou Dene Din National Biodiversity Conservation Area.
