Houaphanh

Located in eastern Laos with its capital at Xam Neua, Houaphanh province spans 16,500 square kilometers and shares borders with Vietnam to the north, east, and southeast. The region holds a medium Human Development Index ranking of 10th among Lao provinces as of 2022.
