Line Islands

Stretching 2,350 kilometers across the central Pacific Ocean, the Line Islands form one of the world's longest chains of volcanic atolls and coral islands, spanning the International Date Line between Kiribati and U.S. territories. This remote archipelago is home to Kiritimati, the world's largest atoll by land area, and includes Starbuck Island, which sits near the geographic center of the Pacific.
