Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo

Spanning 57,750 square kilometers, the Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo region is Guyana's largest administrative area, situated in the country's south and west where it borders Brazil. This vast territory encompasses the biodiverse Rupununi savannah and includes the regional capital of Lethem.
