Essequibo Islands

Situated around the Essequibo River in Guyana, the Essequibo Islands-West Demerara region (Region 3) is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north and contains 365 islands, three of which—Hogg Island, Wakenaam, and Leguan—are located at the river's mouth.
