Lower Kartli

Located in southeastern Georgia, the Kvemo Kartli region serves as a historic province and administrative mkhare with its capital in the city of Rustavi. Covering an area of 6,527.6 square kilometers, this region encompasses one city and six municipalities, housing a population of approximately 434,000 people as of 2020.
