Northern

The Northern Division of Fiji encompasses the entire island of Vanua Levu and three provinces—Macuata, Cakaudrove, and Bua—serving as the historic heartland of the Tovata Confederacy. With Labasa as its administrative capital, this region is the birthplace of prominent national leaders, including the first President of Fiji, Ratu Sir Penaia Ganilau, and current President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere.
