Bolívar

Located in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador, Bolívar is a province characterized by a cool sierra climate in its highlands and a cold, tundra-like environment in its lower foothills. The region's administrative capital is Guaranda, and it was officially established on April 23, 1884.
