North Denmark Region

Established on January 1, 2007, as part of Denmark's municipal reform, this administrative region serves as the country's northernmost area with its capital in Aalborg and comprises 11 municipalities. Covering 7,933 square kilometers, it supports a population of over 590,000 residents and generates a total GDP of approximately €26.9 billion.
