Southwest

The Jihozápad (Southwest) is a NUTS 2 statistical region in the Czech Republic comprising the Plzeň and South Bohemian Regions. Covering an area of 17,617 km², it is home to approximately 1.27 million inhabitants and ranks third in the country for Human Development Index.
