Jihovýchod is a NUTS 2 statistical region in the Czech Republic comprising the Vysočina and South Moravian Regions, covering an area of 13,983 km² with a population of 1,744,709. The region boasts a very high Human Development Index, ranking second among Czech regions in 2022.
