Isle of Youth

The second-largest island in Cuba, formerly known as the Isle of Pines, is a Special Municipality located 50 kilometers south of the mainland across the Gulf of Batabanó. With an area of approximately 2,419 square kilometers, it serves as the seventh-largest island in the West Indies and is administered directly by the Cuban central government.
