San Jose Province

Located in central Costa Rica, San José Province encompasses the national capital and borders Alajuela, Heredia, Limón, Cartago, and Puntarenas. Covering approximately 4,966 square kilometers, it is the country's most populous province with a population exceeding 1.6 million.
