Alajuela Province

Located in north-central Costa Rica and bordering Nicaragua, the Province of Alajuela serves as a key economic hub with a population exceeding one million people across 16 cantons. As the fourth province in the country by Human Development Index, it features the provincial capital of Alajuela and major cities such as Quesada and San Ramón.
