Mangaia

Located in the Central-Southern Pacific Ocean, Mangaia is the second-largest island in the Cook Islands and the most southerly of the group. Traditionally known as A'ua'u Enua, this roughly circular island has experienced a dramatic population decline of 75% over the last half-century due to the collapse of its pineapple industry.
