Atiu

Located 214 kilometers northeast of Rarotonga in the central-southern Pacific Ocean, Atiu is a 26.9-square-kilometer island within the Cook Islands archipelago. Also known as ʻEnuamanu, meaning "land of the birds," the island's population has declined by two-thirds over the past fifty years.
