Anjouan

Located in the southwestern Indian Ocean, Anjouan is the easternmost volcanic island of the Comoros archipelago and serves as an autonomous division within the Union of the Comoros. Known historically as Johanna and currently called Ndzuwani in Comorian languages, the island's capital is Mutsamudu.
