Cauca

Located in southwestern Colombia, the Department of Cauca is the 13th largest region in the country, bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Andes to the east. With Popayán as its capital, the department encompasses diverse geography ranging from the Puracé volcano to the offshore Malpelo Island.
