Localidad Ciudad Bolivar

Located in the southern border of the Bogotá savanna, Ciudad Bolívar is the 19th locality of Bogotá known for housing one of the world's largest mega-slums and concentrating the city's poorest population. The area faces significant challenges due to rampant violence stemming from gang activity, local mafia operations, and historical involvement by the FARC.
