Ennedi-Ouest

Established in 2012 as one of Chad's twenty-three provinces, Ennedi Ouest was carved from the western half of the former Ennedi Region with Fada serving as its capital. This administrative division encompasses the distinctive sandstone pillars of the Ennedi Plateau and recorded a population of 59,744 as of the 2009 census.
