Lobaye

Located in the Central African Republic, Lobaye is a prefecture with its capital in Mbaïki and a population estimated at over 361,000 in 2024. This region is historically notable as the site of Emperor Duy Tân's fatal plane crash in 1945 and as the birthplace of David Dacko, who served as the country's president during two separate terms.
