Cibitoke

Formerly a distinct province in Burundi, Cibitoke was administratively merged into the new Bujumbura Province in 2025 following major national reforms. The region, historically known for its coffee production and the nearby Lake Cibitoke, now functions as a district within the expanded capital province.
