Bururi

Formerly Burundi's largest province until 2015, Bururi was subsequently merged into the new province of Burunga in 2025 following major administrative reforms. The region, which once included the communes of Burambi, Buyengero, and Rumonge, now serves as a key geographic entity within the country's evolving provincial structure.
