Tarija

Located in south-eastern Bolivia, the department of Tarija borders Argentina and Paraguay and is home to over 534,000 inhabitants as of the 2024 census. With an area of 37,623 square kilometers, it ranks third in Bolivia for its Human Development Index and is known for its loyal heritage.
