Samtse District

Samtse District, the third most populous and second most densely populated region in Bhutan, covers 1,305 square kilometers and is administratively divided into two subdistricts and fifteen village blocks. With a population of 62,590 as of 2017, it holds the ninth position in the country's Human Development Index.
