Samdrup Jongkhar District

Samdrup Jongkhar District, located in southeastern Bhutan, serves as the country's primary gateway to India and is home to the disputed Samdrup Jongkhar Dzong. This district, which covers 1,878 square kilometers, is linguistically diverse with Tshangla spoken in the north and west, while Lhotsam is dominant in the east.
