Plateau Department

Established in 1999 by splitting from Ouémé Department, Plateau is one of Benin's twelve departments with a capital at Pobè. It covers an area of 3,264 square kilometers and is subdivided into five communes, including Adja-Ouèrè, Ifangni, Kétou, and Sakété.
