Northern Governorate

Established as one of Bahrain's four governorates, the Northern Governorate encompasses former municipalities including Jidd Haffs and Madinat Hamad, covering a total area of 145.73 square kilometers. With a population of 379,637 recorded in the 2020 Census, this region operates under the leadership of Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor.
