Cabinda Province

Cabinda is an oil-rich exclave of Angola separated from the mainland by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where a persistent armed struggle continues despite the territory's status as a disputed province. This region, historically a Portuguese protectorate, generates the majority of Angola's domestic product through its massive offshore petroleum fields while producing hardwoods, coffee, and cocoa.
