Located in the Kabylie region of Algeria, Béjaïa Province serves as the administrative hub for the city of Béjaïa and encompasses the unique Gouraya National Park, which is home to the endangered Barbary macaque. With a population of approximately 984,050 residents recorded in 2019, the province covers an area of 3,268 square kilometers and is a key terminus for the Béni Mansour-Bejaïa railway line.
