Ghor Province

Located in the western Hindu Kush mountains of central Afghanistan, Ghōr is a rugged province comprising eleven districts and a population of approximately 778,000 people. Its administrative capital, Chaghcharan, serves as the seat of government for this historically significant region known for the iconic Minaret of Jam.
